Information Collection and Use

There are several sections of the site that users are free to use without registering. As a unregistered user of NestEggr, we do not collect any of your personally identifiable information. We employ reputed third party web beacons to collect general sitewide statistics and serve ads.

You may view all public pages of NestEggr without registering. Examples of non-public pages that you may not see include those that a registered member has restricted, including private blog entries, answers and stock ratings.

Ads & Web Beacons

We allow other companies, called adnetworks, to serve advertisements to NestEggr users. Ad networks include third party ad servers, ad agencies, ad technology vendors and research firms. To deliver these ads properly, NestEggr may include a web file from these ad networks within pages served by NestEggr so the networks may provide anonymized, aggregated auditing, research and reporting for advertisers as well as to target ads to you while you visit other websites.

Registered Users

Registration

Registration is not required to use NestEggr. If you choose to register to become a NestEggr registered member, we require your valid email address and ask you to pick a unique (to NestEggr) screenname and a password.

Profile Information

Once a user, you may provide additional information in the Profile section describing your investment experiences and objectives. You can also provide your full name, location and brief textual summary about yourself. Providing additional information beyond what is required at registration is entirely optional, but enables you to better identify yourself and connect with the community

If you choose to provide your full name it will be shared on profile pages and in the invitations you send to your friends/contacts

Friends/Contacts

In order to invite others to connect with you on NestEggr, you may have to invite them to become members of NestEggr. Any email addresses you enter on NestEggr's 'Invite a Friend' Page will be used only to send your invitation and reminders.

Stock Ratings

When you create a stock rating, the default permissions for a rating is to be shared with public. You can change this rating and share it only with friends or keep the stock rating private.

Answers

Similar to Stock Ratings, the default permissions for both questions and answers is to be shared with public. You can mark your question as being shared with friends or keep it private. For answers, you can only mark the answer as private in which case only the person who asked the question can see your answer.

Cookies & Log Files

Like most websites, NestEggr uses cookies and web log files to track site usage and help manage user sessions. The log files information for registered users contains additional data to identify registered users by their unique id on NestEggr. Cookie are used to provide seamless login functionality for users and help them navigate the site during a session. Persistent Cookies are used to provide 'remember me' functionality during the login process.

Children

Children are not eligible to use our service and we ask that minors (under the age of 18) do not submit any personal information to us or use the service.

Legal requests

You understand and agree that NestEggr may access, preserve, and disclose your personal information and the contents of your account if required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that such access preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with legal process, such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, or court order, or to protect the rights and property of NestEggr, its affiliates or the public.

Controlling your personal information

You have complete control of the information you submit to NestEggr. You may at anytime edit or remove your Personally Identifiable Information.

Please note, we reserve the right to transfer your submitted information in the event of a transfer of ownership of NestEggr, such as acquisition by or merger with another company.
